If you have been trying to test HTML5/CSS3 features in SS, or have run across CSS problems in a browser (IE for example) when adding code, then you are probably aware that the SS quirks-mode DOCTYPE may be the problem.

I have developed a small program which will allow you to modify the SS generated DOCTYPE statement in a published page to conform to either HTML4 Strict, HTML4 Transitional, or HTML5 standards. It also allows the option to revert back to the SS DOCTYPE.

The program is currently in a beta stage and I am looking for some beta testers. I have been testing under Win 7 with SS-Pro. It would be helpful if the program can be tested under XP and Vista using either SS or SS-Pro. If you are interested in helping to test the program, please e-mail me (under "Links" on the right).
